Please be informed that with effect from 29 April 2019, the trade settlement cycle for Bursa will be shortened from T+3 to T+2. The change is as stated below:



Bursa’s shortened settlement cycle intends to increase flexibility in securities trading and harmonize post-trade infrastructure in line with leading global settlement practices. It hopes to strengthen the attractiveness and competitiveness of the Malaysian market as a listing and investment destination in the region.

In accordance to this settlement cycle change, we wish to bring to your attention, the following timeline during the transition from T+3 to T+2, whereby 2 May 2019, is deemed as the Double Settlement Day. This is depicted below:
